Pure Sine Wave Inverters vs. Modified Sign Wave inverters

Lets Compare

Both types of inverters are good in different situations.  A Pure Sine Wave Inverter is usually preferred and more expensive because of its efficiency and abilities.  A modified Sign Wave Inverter can run for example a refrigerator just fine and very efficiently.  This would make it a wiser choice for loads such as a freezer.  These types of inverters are more efficient at running DC power as well.

For more technical electronic equipment such as laser printers or audio equipment A  pure sine wave inverter is needed to make them run smoothly and efficiently.

The biggest difference
is of course the cost and efficiency.  When choosing an inverter make sure you factor in all the equipment types you may need it to run so that you can wisely choose the best inverter for you.
