SITE PREPERATION AND PREPARING FOR DELIVERY

Our buildings are built with treated floors and treated skids so they can be placed directly on the ground.

What you need to do

You need to make sure the ground is level. There needs to be a clearance of at least 3 ft on each side of the width of your building for the truck and trailer to get in. If you have a fence or gate that is in the way you need to remove it. If you have low branches you will need to remove them up to 14 ft high as the building will be lowered on a tilt bed trailer and will need space to tilt the bed. Any other objects will need to be removed from the area so that the building can be delivered.

On delivery The equipment is very heavy and if the roads are soft or not drive-able we will not be able to deliver. We will reschedule with you to work out a proper date and time for your delivery.

At delivery you can level your shed by having cinder blocks at delivery. To calculate the number of cinder blocks needed you may use this formula. You may use more if you prefer.

4 blocks for every 8 ft.

Foundation options Customers can have a gravel pad or crushed concrete or even a cement pad. Sand is not an option for a foundation.
