The Dominique chicken breed was developed in the 1870's in America.  They are an endangered breed.  They closely resemble the "Barred Rock" but instead of a single comb they have a rose comb.  They are very broody and cold hardy.  They have a black and white feather pattern and large wattles.  They have clean yellow legs and 4 toes.  Can be confined.
