Delivery Information

Shipping Policy            

Shipping Time -- Most orders received before 1:00PM will ship within two to three business days, provided the product ordered is in stock. Most orders received after 1:00 PM will ship within two to five business days.  Back orders or out of stock items will ship once they become available.   Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, except by prior arrangement.  Some items may have lead times from the manufacturer of up to four to five weeks, please call to confirm availability.

 

We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by Green Garden Chicken GGC or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.

 

Orders that are shipping to a different address than the billing address may incur additional processing time prior to shipping due to fraud protection.  Green Garden Chicken GGC is not responsible for any losses incurred during shipping. 

 

Some items can only ship via LTL freight and require a freight quote prior to shipping the items.  Green Garden Chicken GGC reserves the right to include handling fee's as well as carrier charges when quoting and shipping LTL Freight.

 

Shipping charges on orders may calculate incorrectly.  Incorrect shipping calculations may occur if the item is oversized, hazardous material, or ships via LTL Freight among other reasons.  Green Garden Chicken GGC will notify the customer of any additional shipping charges or changes in shipping charges prior to shipping the order, once receiving the notice the customer will have the option to proceed or cancel the order.  Note that some checkout methods may not display correct shipping charges.

 

Freight Shipments and Damages:

 

Customer is responsible for filing any and all Freight claims associated to damages during shipment. Please note that each carrier handles their claim process differently and it is the responsibility of the customer to follow the carrier's claims procedures. Also note that the carrier, upon their discretion, may or may not reimburse some or all of the requested claim amount.

 

Customer is liable for any damage to the packaging or products not noted at the time of receipt. Do not sign the delivery receipt until you have determined your shipment is complete and free of shipping damage.

 

The customer typically has 5 days from date of delivery to notify the carrier and file a claim for concealed damage. Open the product thoroughly and inspect within the carriers specified period of time. Request a carrier freight inspection immediately if concealed damage is found.

Always note any discrepancies or damages on the delivery receipt, and have the driver note and sign for the damages. Immediately file your claim with the carrier. Keep a file of documents including: Signed delivery receipt, copy of packing list, copy of invoice, and photographs of damages.

 

Green Garden Chicken GGC is not responsible for freight claims, nor any reimbursement for damages.  It is the customer's responsibility to file a freight claim with the carrier in a timely fashion.
